The PL1 pathway has been carefully created around a pyramid system, where our keepers progress from our beginner and development programmes onto our PL1 Pro scheme, leading to opportunities to be recommended for academy trials. Our pathway supports the identification, development and progression of young goalkeepers with the potential and aspiration to move up the pyramid.

Each stage of our pathway is specifically designed by knowledgeable and experienced coaches to cater to the specialised needs of the GK and provides targeted support at each developmental stage to enable each of our keepers to make progress. Our goalkeepers develop their knowledge and skills as they work their way through the pathway, whilst being supported by our talented coaches to tackle key areas for development as they learn and develop as goalkeepers.
