PL1 Goalkeeping

My daughter Lucy started pl1 goalkeeping academy a few years ago at the age of 11. She’s now 13 and has come on leaps and bounds. Paul, Lee and team have worked hard with Lucy progressing the natural ability she seems to have as a goalkeeper. PL1 made it fun but stressed the importance of the technical and mental attributes required. Lucy has just recovered from an injury and throughout her time off Lee & Paul were constantly in contact asking me if there was anything they could do to help and even offering her to come over and help with training sessions, knowing how much she was missing football. I can’t thank PL1 enough for what they have done for Lucy. Lucy has now progressed into JPL football and the sky is now the limit for her. Thank you pl1

Our son has been training with PL1 for almost 3 years and in that time we have seen him go from strength to strength. From helping him to tweak the basics of his natural shot-stopping to teaching him the more specific GK skills like hand positioning, dives and foot movement, Freddie has made huge improvements in all areas and is now a strong and confident GK thanks to PL1. We often get asked where he trains because he stands out, and we are proud to say that he is part of the PL1 family. Thanks Paul and Lee for your excellent coaching over the years - two of the hardest working and most dedicated coaches you’ll ever meet. We - and most importantly, Freddie - couldn’t recommend Paul, Lee and their team any more highly, and we look forward to many more years of successful training with PL1.

My son has attended PL1 for a couple of years now. He started off in development and has moved to Pro. The groups in pro are small and focused. He absolutely loves each and every session. He learns so much and has grown in confidence. All the coaching staff are good at making the sessions interesting and each week it’s different. Paul and Lee are always there and work with different groups each time. Everyone on the coaching team (and also Maria who deals with the admin) give 100%. It’s money well spent. PL1 also offer 1 to 1 sessions too so there is something for everyone. I would recommend PL1 to anyone thinking about getting their child goalkeeper training.
