The Academy
Essex's most recognised goalkeeping academy.
Formed in 2018, PL1 has fast become the most recognised goalkeeping academy in Essex. Based in Southend, we offer a unique development pathway that has seen 25 goalkeepers sign for professional clubs in the past five years — a variety of age- and ability-based training groups led by UEFA- and FA-qualified coaches, in an enjoyable and safe environment.
