Basildon keepers travel in on the A127 to PL1 Goalkeeping Academy on Eastwoodbury Lane — around twenty-five minutes east towards London Southend Airport.
Basildon is the biggest town in our catchment, with major facilities like Basildon Sporting Village and Gloucester Park and a huge grassroots football base. All that football produces plenty of goalkeepers — and PL1 is where the ambitious ones go to specialise.
For a Basildon number one, PL1 means UEFA/FA-qualified coaching, an outdoor all-weather environment and a clear pathway through Academy and PRO towards academy football. The results are real: 25 PL1 keepers signed to professional clubs since 2018.

Our holiday camps are open to outfield players as well as keepers — every age, every ability. They run at the academy on Eastwoodbury Lane, about 25 minutes from Basildon, 10am–3pm. Drop in for one date or come to them all.
