Chalkwell is the leafy, parks-and-beach pocket between Westcliff and Leigh, with Chalkwell Park's cricket and tennis at its heart. It is a sporty little corner — and its young goalkeepers deserve somewhere to work on the one position no club team really coaches.
PL1 gives Chalkwell's number ones proper, position-specific development: handling, distribution, decision-making and the mentality to own the box. Since 2018 our UEFA/FA-qualified coaches have guided 25 keepers into professional academies — the same pathway opens with a first free trial.

Our holiday camps are open to outfield players as well as keepers — every age, every ability. They run at the academy on Eastwoodbury Lane, about 13 minutes from Chalkwell, 10am–3pm. Drop in for one date or come to them all.
