Hullbridge is a riverside village where football is part of the community glue, but a small village cannot run its own goalkeeper coaching. PL1 gives Hullbridge's number ones somewhere proper to develop, without a long trip into Southend.
We coach the position in depth — handling, footwork, distribution and the mentality to command a box — in an outdoor, all-weather environment. Formed in 2018, PL1 has a pathway that has already carried 25 keepers into professional academies.
