Southchurch keepers are close to home with PL1 Goalkeeping Academy — our Eastwoodbury Lane base is around ten minutes north, on the airport side of the borough.
Built around Southchurch Park's boating lake and the medieval Southchurch Hall, this is a settled, family east-Southend neighbourhood with plenty of weekend footballers. Their goalkeepers get the games; PL1 gives them the coaching to go with them.
We turn keen local number ones into confident, technically sound goalkeepers, in an outdoor all-weather setup a few minutes from Southchurch. Since 2018, PL1's UEFA/FA-qualified coaches have helped 25 keepers reach professional academies — starting, for many, with a free trial.

Our holiday camps are open to outfield players as well as keepers — every age, every ability. They run at the academy on Eastwoodbury Lane, about 10 minutes from Southchurch, 10am–3pm. Drop in for one date or come to them all.
