PL1 Goalkeeping Academy coaches Thorpe Bay keepers from our pitch on Eastwoodbury Lane, a straightforward run across the north of the borough — around fifteen minutes from the Thorpe Bay greensward and station.
Thorpe Bay is the calm, green east end of the seafront: wide avenues, sailing and the greensward. It is a sporty neighbourhood, but goalkeeping is the position local teams cannot develop on their own — so its keepers come to us for the specialist work.
At PL1 a Thorpe Bay goalkeeper gets an environment built entirely around the number one, with UEFA/FA-qualified coaches and a genuine pathway towards academy football. The proof is on the pitch: 25 PL1 keepers signed to professional clubs since 2018.

Our holiday camps are open to outfield players as well as keepers — every age, every ability. They run at the academy on Eastwoodbury Lane, about 13 minutes from Thorpe Bay, 10am–3pm. Drop in for one date or come to them all.
