PL1 Goalkeeping Academy coaches keepers from Westcliff-on-Sea at our base a short drive north on Eastwoodbury Lane, by the airport. It is an easy run up from the SS0 seafront — around ten minutes from the Cliffs and Hamlet Court Road.
Westcliff sits on the busy western stretch of the seafront, from the Cliffs Pavilion down to the estuary, with a strong crop of grassroots clubs feeding Sunday-morning football. Their goalkeepers get plenty of games but rarely any dedicated coaching — which is exactly what PL1 exists to give.
We build Westcliff keepers up week by week in an outdoor, all-weather environment, adding the technical detail their Saturday teams cannot. Our track record speaks for itself: 25 PL1 goalkeepers signed to professional academies since 2018, all coached by UEFA- and FA-qualified staff.
